THE RETREAT

Architecture that
stays quiet.

Phase 1 is a ten-unit wellness retreat in St. Ann, Jamaica, built with prefab container architecture and placed lightly on the land.

Design philosophy

Àṣẹ is built from prefabricated container modules, a construction method chosen for precision, speed and cost control, then finished to a standard that reads as craft rather than assembly.

Each unit is oriented for shade, cross-ventilation and privacy. Natural materials, restrained palettes and generous openings keep the architecture subordinate to the landscape it sits on.

The result is a property that can be replicated without losing its character—creating a standardized development model that can be replicated.

LOCATION

St. Ann, Jamaica

Where accessibility meets escape.

Phase 1 begins on Jamaica’s north coast in St. Ann, known as “The Garden Parish” for its lush landscapes and natural beauty. An established destination with the natural setting for a more intentional approach to hospitality, St. Ann offers the ideal foundation for Àṣẹ. Positioned beyond the density of the traditional resort corridor, the retreat will offer international travelers and Jamaicans a place that feels removed, without feeling out of reach.
